There are several styles of hair perm available on the market. Each of them utilizes a chemical solution known as ammonium thioglycolate. This chemical can be damaging to the hair and scalp. If the individual’s hair does not take well to the perm solution it may be damaged and take longer to grow back normally. The scalp may become irritated to varying degrees as well.
This is the all-purpose hair perm. It works well for any type of face. Small sections of hair will be pinned and pre-formed into curls. Once this is accomplished the process is applied to each section individually. The end result is a soft, natural, wavy-haired look.
