These were her Thanksgiving nails: foodborne illness. From pinky to thumb, the top five foodborne pathogens in the U.S.: Staphylococcus aureus (#5), Campylobacter (#4), Clostridium perfringens (#3), Salmonella (#2), and norovirus (#1). No one wanted her to touch their food.
