2011 Hair Trends: Strong Parting

Strong Parting
Concerning the different things that have come up in hair trends 2011, you should know that there are many hair parting techniques. The common ones are middle parting and simple side parting.

However, the parts have different versions to give you any type of look that you want. Some of the popular examples are the zig-zag part, diagonal part and the curved part. To do the side part, you will part the hair on either the right or the left side of the scalp. The parts help you in having a look requiring more hair on any side of your head.

Hair trends 2011 show favor middle parting for people having small faces. It is a good parting because the entire face can be framed, and if you have a round face, it will look rounder.

However, they are not very good if you have wrinkles or lines on your forehead or around the eyes. Middle partings are also ideal for curly or wavy hair looks, while thin and straight hair does not look sleek. Middle partings can also be used to grow different colors on your head.

If you want to have a strong parting, you may also consider the flattering side parting. This type will really flatter you if you are a woman. The asymmetry works well for small beauty flaws on your face, or if you have some facial features which are not perfect, for instance, having a big nose. Side partings are also very good for wide faces because they will look narrower, and every line on your face can even be covered.

To have a perfect look, you should sometimes place your side parting a little to the left or right. That gives your hair the appearance of more volume and bounce.

Strong Parting

Another strong parting is to have zig-zag partings. However, these types are no longer popular as many people see them to be part of the olden days, but there are still some people who cannot do without them. The partings will always give you the kind of neatness that you want. Just comb the hair backwards and hold it with the palm of the second hand. Then use a thick knitting needle or the handle of a teasing comb to draw the zig-zag line front to back. If you like, you may hold the hair in place with the use of hair spray.
